The Meredith Community Centre has a range of facilities for use by community members. Since our inception we have continually upgraded and maintain its facilities as the needs of our programmes and community has required. Beginning in 1988 with just the old school house we have added the studio for extra classroom and meeting space an also extended the main building to accommodate our growing childcare needs. We have also added a modern kitchen. In addition for use for courses, activities and services offered by the organisation, the facilities are also available for use by other local and district organisations with prior arrangement through Centre management.
In 2015 in partnership with the Golden Plains Shire and the Meredith Kindergarten our modest building has been integrated into a modern new building which has become the Meredith Community Learning Hub.
The Community Centre has rooms available for hire for meeting and social functions of local community groups, not-for-profit groups and training rooms for local and commercial organisations. The two rooms that are available have seating for 20-30 persons, large screen available for use with computers and AV equipment, tea/coffee making facilities and a white board. The Computer lab can be made available but solely for training purposes negotiated with Centre Management.
All room hire includes tea, coffee and biscuits provided.
